Lost Cards
Replace your lost or stolen Panther Card at Panther Central in the Litchfield Towers Lobby.
We’ll issue you a new card on the spot if you have positive identification.
You can get a new card Sunday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
You must pay a $20 replacement fee each time you receive a new card.
After-hours Replacement
If you lose your Panther Card after 10 p.m., Panther Central will provide you with a Verification of Residential Status Form and an emergency unlock code to enter your building and room.
Report lost cards immediately!
Report lost or stolen cards to Panther Central immediately at the Panther Central Community at http://my.pitt.edu. Your card will be automatically deactivated.

Liability for all financial transactions, including unauthorized transactions
The cardholder is responsible for all financial activity that occurs on his or her card. Cardholders are responsible for reporting all suspected fraudulent or disputed usage to Panther Central immediately. Upon notification Panther Central will begin an inquiry and notify the cardholder on how to proceed. Failure to notify Panther Central of suspected fraudulent usage within thirty days may result in full liability by the cardholder for any unauthorized use of the card. Card usage may be checked through the cardholder’s my.pitt.edu account online. Any and all inquiries may be directed to Panther Central at 412-648-1100 or pc@bc.pitt.edu.
