Meet the Farmer
Market Central kicked off their “Meet the Farmer” program at Magellan’s with Brenckles Farm. Dining Services is reducing our carbon footprint by utilizing local farms. Each month a different local farm that provides us with product will be coming to Market Central. Students were able to meet farmer, Greg Brenckle and try his produce firsthand. He and Executive Chef Corey Hawke prepared the delicious dishes using produce supplied by Brenckles Farm. The event featured winning recipe “Great Grandma Dust’s Apple Nut Cake” submitted by student Katie Markovich.
