2008–09 Meal Plans

The dining facility at Sutherland Hall not only has a new name–The Perch at Sutherland–but also has a new look and feel. Featuring three brand new restaurant-quality concepts offering superior dine-in menu options and the ambiance to go with it, The Perch at Sutherland allows you the benefit of the complete dining experience, similar to what you have grown accustomed to at Market Central.

Although The Perch at Sutherland offers new, exciting menu options, you can still use the meal plans described below for any of our other dining facilities on campus. Download a blank copy of this meal worksheet (PDF) for help with calculating your meal plan needs.

We now offer meal plans that offer more flexibility with Dining Passes, Dining Dollars, and taking guests to dine-in at Market Central and The Perch at Sutherland

The meal plans are designed with choices to fit every lifestyle, and are categorized by Ultimate Access or Dining Pass Tiers. Because there are various options in each tier, when selecting your meal plan, you will need to first select a tier, and then select an option within that tier.

Ultimate Access Tier

Meal plans with Ultimate Access allow you to dine-in at Market Central and The Perch at Sutherland as many times as you wish, every day, all semester. Additionally, you will enjoy 30 bonus Dining Passes to be used throughout the semester for take-out meals in the Market To-Go area, and 10 bonus Guest Passes to use for friends and family to dine-in at Market Central and The Perch at Sutherland.

Two Ultimate Access plans also come with Dining Dollars to use throughout the semester at any of our dining facilities on campus.

Dining Pass Tiers

These tiers offer meal plan options with a set number of Dining Passes and Dining Dollars in varying amounts, depending upon how much, what, and where you want to eat.

Dining Passes can be used only to dine-in at Market Central and The Perch at Sutherland, or for take-out meals in Market To-Go. Each time you enter Market Central, The Perch at Sutherland, or Market To-Go, a Dining Pass will be deducted from your meal plan.

Want to take a friend or family member to eat? No problem—you may use Dining Passes to dine-in at Market Central and The Perch at Sutherland. You may use a maximum of two Dining Passes for two guests per meal period.

The Dining Dollars segment of these plans are available at all of our dining facilities on campus.

Apartment Residents and Commuter Meal Plans

Residents of on-campus apartment-style accommodations, off-campus independent apartments, or commuter students can select a meal plan from the Ultimate Access or Dining Pass Tiers.

However, you may desire the flexibility of an Apartment Residents and Commuter Plan designed with your busy lifestyle in mind. These plans come with Dining Passes, Dining Dollars, or a combination of both.
