Cans Across America

On November 7, 2007, The Quick Zone, located in the Litchfield Towers, and University of Pittsburgh students participated in Cans Across America, a unique promotion combining a nationwide “stop hunger” initiative with a rewarding experience in which all students were proud to participate. Today’s students are concerned about social issues and the communities in which they live, and this promotion was a great way for them to get involved and make a positive impact. Our students collected and donated 3,229.9 pounds of food. The total weight excluded the weight of the cans. Please view our photo gallery
