Building Sustainability Features
- Energy efficient LED lighting upgrades to 2,998 lighting fixtures (2024).
- Rain garden off Sutherland East captures rainwater and helps it soak into the soil and recharge groundwater supplies.
- A Generation Conscious laundry sheet dispenser in the laundry room provides free, low-waste laundry detergent to all Sutherland Hall residents. Since 2024, this initiative has helped save 3.1 tons of CO2, compared to conventional liquid detergent.
