Activate Your Benefit

All Pitt students and employees will be able to activate their POGOH at Pitt benefit using the instructions below for the 2025-26 academic year starting August 1, 2025. Activation will not be available prior to August 1. If you already have a POGOH account, you do not need to create a new account.

Account Activation Instructions

For Existing POGOH Account Members

Anyone who already has an account should follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your POGOH account at https://pogoh.com/members/login
    *All riders MUST renew via the website to connect their Pitt benefit. The app will not recognize the email domain, and riders will not receive the appropriate discount. Please use the email you use when logging in to my.pitt.edu.
  2. From the Menu bar, go to “Subscription”
  3. Under “Renew Subscription,” click “Renew” to update your subscription
  4. Use the PBSC App to check out bikes under your newly renewed account! 
For New POGOH Users
  1. Visit https://pogoh.com/members/pitt to begin registration
    *All riders MUST register via the website to connect their Pitt benefit. The app will not recognize the email domain, and riders will not receive the appropriate discount.*
  2.  Enter your Pitt email address and verify your eligibility. Please use the email you use when logging in to my.pitt.edu.
  3. Once verified, select “Click Here” and complete your registration
  4. Note: You must link a payment method in the event that your ride exceeds 30-minutes.  
  5. Download the PBSC App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and sign in. Now you’re ready to ride!

Verifying Your POGOH Account

Sign in to the PBSC App on your smartphone to verify that you’ve successfully applied your promo code.

  • Click the Profile at the bottom right of your screen
  • Select "Edit Profile"
  • Your Annual Membership will be displayed on your account. If no membership appears, you have not successfully activated your benefit. If it says pending, you may be missing vital information on your account. Review your account and payment information to ensure all required fields are filled in.
