At this time, only current Soldiers and Sailors (SO), Allequippa Street (OC), Ruskin (RA), Posvar (A), CC (Craig Hall), FH, and Public Health (PG) permit holders are eligible to request Shared and Set Day Permits. If you are eligible and interested in one of these permit types, please fill out the New Permit Offerings form.
Shared Permit
A shared permit is a permit that can be shared between 2-3 people for a specific parking location. Only one of the permit holders may have a vehicle in their designated parking location at a time. The cost of the permit will be divided by the number of parkers sharing the permits. For example, two individuals sharing a permit will be charged 50 percent each of the total permit cost. If more than one person on a shared permit is parking on campus then the second person arriving on campus must pay for parking that day out of pocket. No exceptions will be made.
Example of a Shared Permit: An individual shares a permit with one other employee. This individual comes to work on campus on a Tuesday. The other employee also decides to come to campus on that same Tuesday. Since the first employee is already parked on campus, the second employee would need to pay the daily rate at a parking location that offers daily parking. No exceptions will be made.
Set Day Permit
A Set Day Permit is a permit that allows you to park in your assigned, designated parking location on specific, set days. These permits will be offered based on the number of set days per week (either two or three days) that you are scheduled on campus. Please note these days are not flexible and the vehicle is only permitted in its designated lot on the designated set days or it will be subject to ticketing. Please note that only two-day or three-day Set Permits will be issued.
Example of Set Day Permit: An individual works on campus on the designated set days of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This person would sign up for a three-day permit with the designated days of Monday/Wednesday/Friday. If this individual would come to campus on a non-designated day (Tuesday/Thursday, in this example), they would need to pay the daily rate at a parking location that offers daily parking. No exceptions will be made.
