Accessible Parking
To park in an ADA-accessible space in a University-owned facility, students and employees must have a Pitt parking permit for that location or pay the daily rate, and display a valid disability parking placard. Placards can be obtained through your state of residence. Pennsylvania residents can find additional information through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
For temporary on-campus parking needs related to a short- or long-term disability, please contact the Parking Services Office.
Motorcycle Parking
Students, faculty, and staff can obtain a motorcycle parking permit by visiting the Parking Services Office at Panther Central with their Pitt ID, vehicle registration, and payment. Motorcycles must be parked in designated motorcycle spaces across campus, which are shown on the Visitor Parking Map. Current permit fees and parking rates can be found on the Parking Services Rates page.
Events Parking
Parking may be temporarily affected during special events, particularly in Lots OC, PG, and SO, which are commonly used for event parking. Please check the Parking Services Office homepage for the latest updates or call 412-624-4034 for assistance.
For Men’s Basketball parking, visit the Athletics department website. Graduation parking information is available on the Commencement website. If you are attending an event at the Petersen Events Center, we recommend parking in the nearby Allequippa Street (OC lot) or Soldiers and Sailors garage (SO). Event parking is typically $20 per vehicle, though rates may vary. Please visit the Petersen Events website for maps and additional details.
