Summer 2026 Student Housing

The University of Pittsburgh offers summer housing for current students who need to remain on campus for classes, employment, internships, or other approved reasons. Housing is a convenient, affordable option in the heart of campus with an easy access to downtown Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. Summer housing is available May 4 - August 4, 2026.

To qualify for summer housing, students must be registered for at least one summer class, have an approved reason (such as a job, co-op, or internship), and be registered for the Fall 2026 term.

Panther Central will verify registration before approving housing applications. Students will not be able to move in unless they are registered for Summer 2026 and/or Fall 2026.

Students who are transitioning directly from a spring housing assignment may be eligible for interim housing, which are billed for any additional nights. Panther Central will contact eligible students directly with instructions regarding the interim move-in process, which will begin Monday, May 4.
